Rosey has a background in clinical exercise physiology and currently works within the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Leicester. She has been a member of the Kidney Lifestyle Team since 2016. She is interested in the links between physical activity, health, and cardiometabolic disease, and in the development of specific exercise guidelines for patients with chronic kidney disease. She has been working in clinical research for almost 10 years and has a large amount of experience working with kidney transplant recipients. She has coordinated two trials of exercise in this population; one in high-intensity interval training and one in home-based exercise. The latter of which she completed her mixed methods PhD on in 2024. Rosey is now leading work to develop a holistic lifestyle programme for patients receiving haemodialysis.
